Ryan Coogler’s first foray into the horror genre delivered something fiercely original that took the world by storm. For a vampire story set in 20^th century Mississippi, the director reteamed with his longtime collaborator Michel B. Jordan, who gave a stellar performance (or performances) as twins Smoke and Stack. Believe the hype: Sinners is an instant classic.
