Elvis Special Screening in London
To celebrate the release of Elvis, the film’s director and stars will be attending a special event in London!
On Tuesday 31st May a red carpet event will take place at the BFI Southbank, ahead of Elvis's cinematic release on Friday 24th June.
Stars Tom Hanks, Austin Butler, Olivia DeJonge, Yola, director Baz Luhrmann, and producer Catherine Martin will all be in attendance.
We're delighted to welcome a limited number of fans to watch red carpet arrivals in person. To secure a place within a red carpet pen you will need a wristband, which will be given on a first come first serve basis.
For those wanting to enjoy the event remotely, we’ll have a red carpet livestream across Warner Bros. UK Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, plus exclusive behind-the-scenes content across all of our social channels.
We ask that anyone with symptoms of COVID not attend and encourage attendees to wear a mask. Wristbands will be given out on location at the BFI Southbank from 8 am the day of the Special Screening. If you have any accessibility needs, please email events.uk@warnerbros.com in advance.
A thoroughly cinematic drama, Elvis's (Butler) story is seen through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Hanks). As told by Parker, the film delves into the complex dynamic between the two spanning over 20 years, from Presley's rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and loss of innocence in America. Central to that journey is one of the significant and influential people in Elvis's life, Priscilla Presley (Olivia DeJonge).
