5 eerie encounters in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite
Not all sorcery is safe! Dark magic and fearsome beasts await the unwary in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, so it’s important to know what’s out there.
Wands at the ready! As part of the SOS Task Force in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, it’s your job to seek out the magic all around you and send it back to the Wizarding World. But not all sorcery is safe! Dark magic and fearsome beasts await the unwary, so it’s important to know what’s out there.
Here are just a few of the evil encounters and creepy confoundables you might meet along the way:
Acromantula
Who could forget the swarms of these things charging through the Forbidden Forest in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets? The scourge of the arachnophobe, these eight-legged freaks confirm what most of us already know - just because Hagrid likes them doesn’t mean they make good pets!
Death Eaters
Prepare yourself to duel with the Dark Lord’s henchmen. They’re tough, they’re mean and they ain’t afraid of no Muggles! And with past members among their ranks including Lucius Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange, you know these guys can be even scarier behind the masks.
Is that a chill in the air? These ghastly creatures won’t just suck all the warmth and happiness out of the area - let them get too close and they can literally suck out your soul! Say it with me now… Expecto Patronum! And maybe keep a few chocolate bars in your pocket at all times, just in case.
Magick Moste Evile
I know what you’re thinking, “What harm can one little book do?” Well, this one just happened to teach Lord Voldemort some of the darkest and most powerful magic known to the wizarding world. You definitely won’t find this on the Hogwarts reading list!
Werewolves
Watch out when you hear that “awoo!” Not all werewolves are as friendly as Professor Lupin, and the ones you’ll meet in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite won’t hesitate to take a bite out of you! Remember to use your Protego spell, and take extra care during the full moon.
It’s a dangerous world out there for a witch or wizard, so you’d better pack those potions, master that wand-work and don’t forget; it’s “Levi-O-sa”, not “Levio-SA”. Good luck, and happy hunting!
