Annabelle visits one of the most haunted houses in the UK
Everyone’s favourite demonic doll is back on the big screen in Annabelle Comes Home and to celebrate the release she visited one of the UK’s most haunted houses.
In the quiet village of St. Osyth sits a small cottage that to any passerby just looks like a quaint picturesque home, but the walls hold a malevolent history. The house, known as The Cage due to its use as a Medieval prison in the 16th century, has spooked its current owner, Vanessa Mitchell, so many times it’s now up for sale.
Creepy happenings include growling moving shadows, drops in temperature, ghosts ready to push you down the stairs and even a satanic goat. So what better visitor than the world’s most infamous and demonic doll, Annabelle!
Could you live in a haunted cottage with Annabelle as a housemate?
Annabelle Comes Home sees the creepy doll wreak more havoc as demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.
Annabelle seemed to enjoy being let loose in The Cage, but do you think you could handle being its next resident?
