01 - A Very Special Supernatural Special
This one-hour special takes a behind-the-scenes look at the past nine seasons of the hit drama about the thrilling and terrifying journey of the Winchester Brothers. Interviews include series stars Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), Misha Collins (Castiel) and Mark Sheppard (Crowley), along with series creator Eric Kripke and executive producers Robert Singer and Jeremy Carver. The stars and producers share stories and clips of their favorite memories, monsters, demons and angels from seasons one through nine and tease the upcoming action fans can expect in season ten.
02 - Black
When they were boys, Sam Winchester (series star JARED PADALECKI) and Dean Winchester (series star JENSEN ACKLES) lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force. Subsequently, their father raised them to be soldiers. He taught them about the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America...and he taught them how to kill it.
Sam and Dean have spent the last nine years battling the things that go bump in the night. Over the years, with the help of both fallen-angel Castiel (series star MISHA COLLINS), and the reigning King of Hell, Crowley (series star MARK A. SHEPPARD), the Winchesters have straddled the line between good and evil. Last season, power struggles in Heaven and Hell would push the boys beyond their limits. Crowley was pitted against the Knight of Hell, Abaddon (ALAINA HUFFMAN), in a civil war for the throne of Hell, while the recently fallen angels formed battling factions, with the boys and Castiel caught in the crossfire of both conflicts. Meanwhile, the egomaniacal former scribe of God, Metatron (recurring guest star CURTIS ARMSTRONG), vied to replace the Almighty in the hearts and minds of angels and humans alike. However, absolute power corrupted the scribe, and the Winchesters were forced to confront the would-be deity, a conflict ending with the death of Dean Winchester. In the shocking final moments of the season, he would be resurrected by the power of the First Blade, opening his eyes to reveal he has been transformed into a demon. Season Ten begins with Sam's frantic search for his missing brother, who is gone without a trace. The road to recovering the wayward Dean takes Sam down dark paths, with consequences that will shake the boys to their core. Meanwhile, Castiel has to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of Metatron's campaign. With his grace failing and rogue angels still on the loose, Cass will face the ticking clock of his own mortality as all-new threats emerge to once again push all of our heroes to their limits.
03 - Reichenbach
Crowley notices Dean is becoming more and more aggressive. Dean tells him that's the side effect of being a demon, but Crowley knows it's something more - the Mark of Cain needs to be fed. Meanwhile, Sam is captured by Cole (guest star TRAVIS AARON WADE), an angry man who blames Dean for his father's death years ago and wants revenge. Cole tortures Sam, hoping he'll tell him where Dean is hiding. Hannah (guest star ERICA CARROLL) sees how weak Castiel is becoming as his grace continues to fade, so she makes a bold choice and asks Metatron for help.
04 - Soul Survivor
Sam continues his efforts to save Dean from the Mark of Cain. Crowley realizes Dean's demonic antics are starting to cause problems for him in Hell so he searches out an unlikely ally - Castiel. Jensen Ackles returns to the helm as director.
05 - Paper Moon
A recent string of werewolf attacks points to a surprising culprit - Kate (guest star BRIT SHERIDAN), the werewolf Sam and Dean let live.
06 - Fan Fiction
Supernatural celebrates its 200th episode. When Sam and Dean investigate the disappearance of a teacher, they are stunned to discover that the school is putting on a musical based on their lives. Familiar faces abound in this milestone episode.
07 - Ask Jeeves
Dean is surprised when he checks Bobby's cell phone and hears a message that says Bobby or his next of kin have been named as a beneficiary in an heiress's will. Hoping that means extra money, Dean talks Sam into hitting the road to claim their fortune. What they encounter at the house, however, is far from a treasure chest.
08 - Girls, Girls, Girls
Sam and Dean stumble upon a demon who is running from Crowley. Before they have a chance to shut him down, Rowena (recurring guest star RUTH CONNELL) steps in and takes things into her own hands. Realizing that Rowena is trying to recruit and train followers in the art of witchcraft, Sam and Dean come up with a plan to catch her before she can do much damage. Meanwhile, Hannah runs into a blast from her vessel's past, which complicates things for her and Castiel.
