Based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson, Longmire returns for its second season with more murder, secrets and betrayals from Absaroka County, Wyoming. The new season finds reluctant hero Sheriff Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) back in the saddle after coming to terms with the devastating loss of his wife and dedicated to serving his community. But storm clouds are brewing...
Based upon the Walt Longmire mystery novels by Craig Johnson, Longmire is a contemporary crime thriller set in big sky country that focuses on a Wyoming sheriff rebuilding his life and career after the death of his wife.
Robert Taylor (The Matrix) stars as Walt Longmire, the appealing, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Widowed only a year, he is a man in psychic repair, but buries his pain behind a brave face, unassuming grin and dry wit.
Rome burns. Nero fiddles. Christianity rises. And moviegoers turned out in throngs for this years-in-the-making film colossus boasting eight Oscar® nominations (including Best Picture) and featuring 110 speaking parts, 30,000 participants and a filmed-on-location panoply of marching legions, magisterial pageantry and massive spectacle that includes the martyrdom of Christians thrown to the lions before cheering Coliseum throngs.
Robert Taylor plays the Legion commander whose love for a Christian slave girl (Deborah Kerr) crosses the divide between Empire and a sect with a higher loyalty. Presiding over all is Nero (Peter Ustinov). He is Caesar, madman, murderer – an imperial ruler of the spectacular, and spectacularly doomed, glory that was Rome.
Principal photography is underway in New Zealand on the science fiction action thriller “Meg,” being directed by Jon Turteltaub (the “National Treasure” movies, “Last Vegas”).
