  • Looking for excitement? You’ve made the right Decision! Producer Joel Silver adds to his string of hits and Stuart Baird, editor of Silver’s Lethal Weapon and other action spectaculars, makes a memorable directorial debut on a movie “faster than Speed and more fun than Broken Arrow” (Allen Barra, Newhouse Newspapers).

Kurt Russell, Steven Seagal, Halle Berry, John Leguizamo and others in a heroic ensemble are on board for first class thrills. The mission: board a hijacked 747 in mid-air. Avoid detection. Locate and disable a hair-triggered nerve-toxin bomb that could wipe out the U.S. Eastern Seaboard. Execute a split-second attack that overwhelms the terrorists and safeguards the passengers. Do it all without air-to-ground radio. And do it before an increasingly jittery U.S. military blasts the airliner out of the sky. “I hope there’s a good movie on this flight,” an anti-terrorist operative quips. As it turns out, there’s a great one: Executive Decision!

  • Dr. Guy Luthan did everything right but it turned out wrong. A patient under his care at New York’s Gramercy Hospital mysteriously died, and now Luthan wants to know why. However, when he looks for post-mortem details, he finds no body... and no records.

Hugh Grant plays Luthan in Extreme Measures, “one of the most effective paranoid suspense movies since The Fugitive” (Chicago Tribune). Gene Hackman and Sarah Jessica Parker co-star in this mystery thriller posing a medical ethics dilemma to keep you thinking long after it ends. Luthan’s determined to unravel the bizarre conspiracy into which he’s stumbled. But he’s not the only one willing to go to extremes.

  • Freeways are clogged. Terror stalks our cities. At shops and restaurants, the customer is seldom right. The pressures of big-city life can anger anyone. But Bill Foster is more than angry. He’s out to get even. “I’m going home,” Foster says as he abandons his gridlocked car on the hottest day of the year.

Instead, he walks straight into an urban nightmare by turns absurdly funny and shatteringly violent. Academy Award™ winner Michael Douglas is Foster, an ordinary guy at war with the frustrations of daily living. Fellow Oscar® winner Robert Duvall is the savvy cop obsessed with stopping Foster’s city-wide rampage. Falling Down is their story, a spellbinding, unconventional thriller that asks: “Are we falling apart?”

  • Harrison Ford and filmmaker Roman Polanski count thrillers among their best work. Frantic teams, USA Today’s Mike Clark wrote, “an imaginatively cast superstar and the greatest living suspense director in fine form.” Ford plays an American doctor whose wife (Betty Buckley) suddenly vanishes in Paris.

To find her, he navigates a puzzling web of language, locale, laissez-faire cops, triplicate-form bureaucrats and a defiant, mysterious waif (Emmanuelle Seigner) who knows more than she tells. “It is the spirit of Hitchcock that reigns here” (Michael Wilmington, Los Angeles Times). And the consummate skill of Polanski and Ford that’s on dazzling display.

Academy Award® winners Sandra Bullock (The Blind Side) and George Clooney (Syriana) star in Gravity, a heart-pounding thriller that pulls you into the infinite and unforgiving realm of deep space. The film was directed by Oscar® nominee Alfonso Cuarón (Children of Men).

Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski (Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes.  The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalski completely alone - tethered to nothing but each other and spiralling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth… and any chance for rescue.  As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
