Napoleon Solo

The man from uncle

Napoleon Solo is a man of intelligence, verve, physical prowess, the kind of man most women would find very attractive… but the worst possible candidate for marriage. Yet, although Solo seems perfect for the job, he never sought a career in the intelligence services. Solo began life dealing art and antiques on the black market, using his charm and taste for the finer things in life to make his way into post-war European high society.

Solo took great pride in his ability to go undetected for years, but eventually his philandering ways got the better of him when a jealous girlfriend brought him to the attention of the CIA. Seeing his value, the CIA gave him an ultimatum: go to jail, or work them.

He went on to become one of the CIA’s most successful, if reluctant agents. But his new line of work hasn’t changed his taste for natty suits and the finer things in life. Whether he’s driving off road, fighting assassins, or attempting to land a truck on top of a boat, Solo is a force to be reckoned with and looks stylish while doing it.

Napoleon Solo was originally created for the TV series Man from U.N.C.L.E.  with early input from a writer called Ian Fleming, who had a bit of experience writing charming secret agents….
