NANCY MARCHAND

Veteran stage actress Nancy Marchand received a Tony nomination for "White Liars and Black Comedy" and won Obie Awards for "The Cocktail Hour" and "The Balcony." She is fondly remembered as Mrs. Pynchon on the series "Lou Grant," for which she won four Emmys. She also received a 1999 Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Livia Soprano. Her extensive television credits include "Homicide: Life on the Street," "Law & Order," "Coach," "Night Court," "Cheers" and the legendary television presentation of "Marty" opposite Rod Steiger. "Dear God," "Sabrina," "Jefferson in Paris" and "The Hospital" are just a few of the many films in which Marchand has appeared.
