LORRAINE BRACCO

Born in New York, Brooklyn-bred Lorraine Bracco began modeling at age 16 and moved to Paris, where she spent 10 years as a fashion model and disc jockey. In 1990, she was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for "GoodFellas" and later appeared in "Switch," "Radio Flyer," "Even Cowgirls Get The Blues," "Being Human," "The Basketball Diaries" and "Hackers," among many other films. With her husband, Edward James Olmos, she was executive producer of the Cinemax Reel Life documentary "It Ain't Love." Bracco received a 1999 Emmy Award nomination for her role of Dr. Jennifer Melfi.
