Best known to television audiences as a former MTV veejay as well as the sexy art student who wooed the title character in "Felicity" last season, Simon Rex makes his series debut starring on "Jack & Jill." His already high profile will climb, as he also stars in a new television and print campaign for L'Oreal. Born and raised in San Francisco's bohemian Mission District, Rex began his career as a model at age 18, soon landing a print campaign for Tommy Hilfiger as his first big job. After three years of extensive traveling between New York and Europe, he was discovered by MTV and quickly became one of the hottest veejays on the air. Throughout his two years with MTV, he had the opportunity to interview some of the biggest personalities in film, television and music; perform in comedy sketches; emcee events; and make personal appearances all over the country. Last season, Rex stunned fans of The WB drama "Felicity" when he appeared on several episodes in a romantic role opposite series star Keri Russell. On the big screen, he played himself in the independent film "Snapped," and he starred in "I Know What You Screamed Last Semester." Rex also recently completed shooting the film "Forsaken." Honing a passion for comedy and improvisation, Rex has appeared on cable television's "Instant Comedy at the Groundlings" and has performed stand-up in New York venues such as Boston Comedy Club. Currently living in Los Angeles, Rex enjoys playing basketball in his free time, going to the movies, exercising, drawing and listening to music.
