TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2004
The 'Scooby-Doo! Meets The Harlem Globetrotters competition' ("Competition")
is organised on behalf of Warner Home Video by Warner Bros. Online Inc., 505
N. Brand Boulevard, Glendale, California 91203, USA ("Warner Bros").
In order to administer the Competition, Warner Bros. may make use of advertising
and promotional agencies ('Warner Bros. Agencies').
The Competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
No purchase is necessary to take part in this Competition
Entry into the Competition assumes the acceptance of the terms and conditions
below and agreement to be bound by the decisions of Warner Bros. The following
terms and conditions will apply to this Competition:
How to Enter
The Competition begins at 12.00:01am GMT on 10 February 2004 and ends at 11.59:01pm
GMT on 23 March 2004.
Participants may only enter the Competition by providing Warner Bros. with:
· a multiple choice answer to the question: What type of sport is played
in Scooby-Doo! Meets The Harlem Globetrotters?
and
· their email address and date of birth on the Competition entry page
located at www.warnerbros.co.uk; and
pressing "submit".
By completing the entry page and clicking on the submit button, a participant
will obtain one entry ('Entry') in to the Competition.
Eligibility
The Competition is only open to UK residents who are aged 14 or older.
Warner Bros. will only accept one Entry per day, per household. If more than
one such Entry is submitted within 24 hours, only the first Entry submitted
will be accepted.
Ineligible or fraudulent Entries are void. Winners will be deemed to have authorised
Warner Bros. and Warner Bros.' Agents to check the completeness and accuracy
of the information they supply for purposes of participation. A winner who has
supplied incomplete, inaccurate or fraudulent information will be automatically
disqualified. Any Entry that uses offensive or inappropriate language will automatically
be disqualified.
Warner Bros. and Warner Bros.' Agents are not responsible for lost, late, or
misdirected Entries, for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind,
for lost or unavailable network connections, or for failed, incomplete, garbled
or delayed computer transmissions or any human error which may occur in the
receipt or processing of the Entries.
Proof of entering information on the www.warnerbros.co.uk website does not constitute
proof of delivery or receipt of such information. Warner Bros. is not responsible
for the failure of any email or Entry to be received by Warner Bros. on account
of technical problems or congestion on the internet or at any web site.
Use of computer programs and other automatic means to enter the Competition
is prohibited and may result in the disqualification of the participant.
The Competition is not open to employees or contractors of the Warner Bros.,
Warner Bros. Entertainment group of companies, including each of their affiliates,
subsidiaries, divisions or any person directly or indirectly involved in the
organisation or running of the Competition or their direct family members.
In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an
Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name
the e-mail account is registered on the date the Entry is submitted. All entries
become property of Warner Bros. and will not be returned.
The Competition winners may be invited to take part in post-Competition publicity
for Warner Bros.
Use of Personal Information
In order to participate in the Competition, participants will be required to
supply certain information about themselves on the Competition entry page. Warner
Bros. has specified which information is mandatory in order to participate in
the Competition. This information will be used by Warner Bros. for the purposes
of administering the Competition.
In addition, the Warner Bros. Privacy Policy shall apply to all personal information
provided by the participant. The Warner Bros. Privacy Policy can be found at

Competition Draw
The Competition winners will be selected by means of a random software selection
system. Warner Bros.' decision concerning the determination of the Competition
winners and all matters relating to the Competition will be final and binding.
The Competition Prizes
100 (one hundred) Competition winners will each receive a copy of the Scooby-Doo!
Meets the Harlem Globetrotters movie.
No cash or credit alternative is available and prizes are not transferable.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Warner Bros. reserves the right to
substitute any or all parts of the Competition.
In this event, such a change will be publicised on the www.warnerbros.co.uk
website and any necessary amendments to these conditions will be made.
Notifying the Competition Winners
The Competition winners will be informed by email (at the same email address
submitted on the entry page) by 26 March 2004. The Competition winners will
be required to confirm acceptance of their prizes in an email by 12 noon on
2 April 2004 ("Confirmatory Email"). Competition winners must
provide their full name, telephone number and mailing address in the Confirmatory
Email. The prizes will be posted to each of the Competition winners within 28
days of Warner Bros. receiving the Competition Winner's Confirmatory Email.
If a Competition winner does not confirm acceptance of his/her prize by 12 noon
on 2 April 2004, he/she will automatically forgo their right to claim the prize
and Warner Bros. will select the runner up as an alternative Competition winner.
Winner's List
For the names of the Competition winners', send a self-addressed stamped envelope
to: Winner's List, c/o Online International Department, Warner Bros. Distributors
Limited, Warner house, 98 Theobald's Road, London WC1X 8WB, within one month
of the competition closing date.
Limitation of Liability
Warner Bros. does not accept any responsibility for any occurrences resulting
from the participants' connection to the internet via the www.warnerbros.co.uk
site and/or resulting from participation in the Competition. In particular,
Warner Bros. does not accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused in
any way to participants, their computer equipment and/or to data which is stored
on any such equipment, or to their personal, professional or commercial activities.
If, for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned, including
infection due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention,
fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control
of Warner Bros. that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness,
integrity, or proper conduct of the Competition, Warner Bros. reserves the right
to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel,
terminate, modify, or suspend the Competition and to select the Competition
winners from all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation or termination
of the Competition.
Any attempt by a participant to deliberately damage the www.warnerbros.co.uk
website or to undermine the legitimate operations of the Competition may be
a violation of criminal and civil laws and should any such attempt be made,
Warner Bros. reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the
fullest extent permitted by law.
Warner Bros. reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel the Competition
without specifying the reasons for its decision and without incurring liability
as a result.
Warner Bros. does not exclude any liability for death or personal injury arising
as a result of Warner Bros.' negligence in respect of the participants' use
of the www.warnerbros.co.uk web site.
Participants' use of the www.warnerbros.co.uk
website is subject to the Warner Bros Terms of Use.
Entry into the Competition assumes acceptance of these terms and conditions
and agreement to be bound by the decisions of Warner Bros.
