When Los Angeles family man and firefighter Gordon Brewer (Arnold Schwarzenegger- The 6th Day) loses his wife and child in a bombing credited to Claudio "The Wolf" Perrini (Cliff Curtis - Training Day), he suddenly finds himself plunged into the complex and dangerous world of international terrorism.

The official investigation seems to be going nowhere and Gordy knows that if the man responsible for murdering his family is ever going to be brought to justice he will have to take matters into his own hands.

Gordy's mission takes him deep into the guerrilla zones of Columbia, where he is confronted with the harsh realities of civil war and is forced to witness brutality and fear as a way of life.

But just as he is closing in on "The Wolf", Gordy meets the mysterious Selena (Francesca Neri - Hannibal) and her young son Mauro, who just happen to be the family of his target.
